Redefining the responsibility of eating meat through a dinner performance.

Se Carne, Questa Carne (“If Meat, Then This Meat”) came out of a collaboration with Most of Italy, cook Tommaso Tonioni (ARSO) and cook Edoardo Tilli (Podere Belvedere, Chianti Rufina).
The photographic intervention was conceived as a performative moment inside a dinner with no menu: four printed photographic works standing allegorically for the stages of the life of meat and of human consumption — Birth, Growth, Sacrifice, Celebration.
The images were served directly at the table, introducing each course and building a dialogue between art, cooking and narrative.
