24 hours in a hotel, a dystopian and surreal tale.
The subject
A campaign of eight images for MyTale Hotel in Rome: 24 hours of possibilities and adventures set in a hotel that made design its language.
The point of view
It is not strictly a fine art work: it joins the commercial with a strongly authorial eye.
The hotel wanted a provocative, slightly unsettling project, one that would amuse and make you want to stay there when you come to Rome, to see what adventures might begin.
So I reworked the slightly erotic scenes in the ironic, surreal key the hotel wanted to convey.
The journey
2022: eight photographs, born from a project of my former agency.
The images were published on the hotel’s social media and communication channels.
Hospitality Photography: MyTale Hotel
The campaign tells twenty-four hours inside the hotel: breakfast in bed on the roof, the rooms, a corridor with a balloon, a bathtub full of rubber ducks, the party and the room after the party.
Do you have a subject that deserves a point of view, not just a photograph?
