La Scala di Mohs

La Scala di Mohs is a visual reflection on the concepts of fragility and resistance.
The project takes its name from the scale created by geologist Friedrich Mohs to measure the hardness of minerals.
In this ongoing work, photography becomes a medium to translate into images those inner states that are difficult to express in words, exploring pain, loss, and the capacity to endure — both among the living and the dead
